Former Press Secretary for Bush Writes Book

5 06 2008

This is bothering me. This former press secretary for President Bush writes some book making all these bogus claims about the Bush Administration right around the peak of a public unrest with the current President to whom 2 years earlier he was completely loyal. In his own book he says that everything he said as press secretary was sincere but he’s supposedly come to realize that he was misguided.
Don’t people realize he is just taking advantage of the general unrest among people about Bush?

In a poll on MSNCB, 46% of people say that he wrote this book out of remorse and trying to make ammends. Who the heck is he trying to make ammends to? He’s blaming everything on Bush. So essentially he’s saying he was blameless for anything he said. 32% of people (me being one of them) say that he wrote it due to the fact that in the unwinding months of the Presidents last term he was trying to cash in and make a pretty penny. This is pretty obvious. The book was supposed to be released this Monday, but instead it was pushed up to last Wednesday. The sooner the better of course!

In another poll from MSNCB, a staggering 78% of people say they believe the Bush Administration lied about the majority of information that they used to start the war in Iraq, and only 19% (me being one) believe we really should be in the war. The former press secretary said in his book that the al-Quiadda connections in Iraq were completely fabricated. That is ridiculous. Look at the news! Almost everyday there is a terrorist attack on our troops. These aren’t just random kids saying “Hey let’s go destroy a tank!”

And while I’m on the topic of the war, another thing the American people need to realize is Obama and Clinton are making a huge promise they cannot uphold, while McCain is setting a plan that is actually attainable. Obama and Clinton say they are going to withdraw the majority of troops from Iraq as soon as one of them is in office. Everyone thinks that sounds wonderful. But do you realize that when they get in office they will realize it’s not something that can be done? If they were to pull 75% of our troops from Iraq, within no time a revolt against the new decomcratic council would break out, and we’d have to go right back over if we had any hope of keeping things the way they were.

McCain on the other hand has a plan to withdraw troops in a steady schedule that allows our troops to train a capable Iraqi army to control the major issues in the country, while leaving a small amount of our troops at a base over there like we do with every country we’ve ever had a war with. The troops would be home completely by 2013. That’s what will end up happeneing no matter who is in office once they realize the undertaking they are trying to do.

I wish people wouldn’t look at all republicans as they do at President Bush. I have a feeling that most people will vote democrat just because they are tired of Bush. And there are a lot of people out there who will vote for Clinton just because she’s a woman.

Just what we need. A new war will break out once a month. Most people should get why. No offense to women, I have nothing against a working woman and what not. But as a Christian, I do believe its a Man’s job to lead, whether it is leading his wife and children, or leading his country. If Clinton were a true Christian woman i’d be a little less wary of her. But she is so obviously not. She is just a politician trying to become President.

Wow it’s pretty late. Time to go to sleep. If you disagree with me feel free to let me know your point of view. But please do me a favor and don’t send me anything like “oh you’re retarded blah blah.” Because that won’t solve anything. You’ll just be bashing me instead of trying to explain what you think of all this.
